Understand the dashboard

Dashboard is the first page of the administrative panel, at admin.inspekio.com. It answers one question at a time: what is overdue today, how much the team delivered in the period, where failures repeat.

The numbers come from the work orders of the organization selected at the top.

Under Filters:

Filter What it does
Period 7d, 30d, 60d or 90d. The default is 7d.
View Charts or Table, with the same data.
Display % shows a proportion, # shows the count.
All clients Narrows the page to a single client.

The period counts backwards from today: 30d is the last 30 days, not the current month.

Card What it counts
Urgent / Emergency Work orders created in the period with Urgent or Emergency priority.
Due today Work orders scheduled for today and not yet finished or cancelled.
Overdue Work orders whose scheduled date has passed and are not yet finished or cancelled.

Clicking any of the three opens the WO list already filtered by that criterion.

A work order only enters Due today or Overdue if it has a Scheduled date filled in. Work orders with no scheduled date appear in neither. See Create and assign a work order.

Created and Finished count the current month, from the 1st until today. These two do not follow the period filter.

The two numbers do not refer to the same work orders: one created in March and finished in April counts in March’s Created and April’s Finished. That is why Finished can exceed Created in a month where the team cleared a backlog.

Chart What it shows
Status Distribution How many work orders in the period are Open, In progress and Finished.
Scheduled work orders How many work orders are scheduled for each day, before and after today.
Monthly Trend Created and finished, month by month.
Top Clients The five clients with the most work orders created in the period.
Por tipo de OS The split by type, among the types your organization registered.
Top Failures The verification fields answered Failed most often, plus Others.
Top Root Causes The primary causes recorded most often in finished work orders.
Assignees How many work orders in the period fell to each technician.
SLA — Cumprimento de Prazo Four lines, described below.
Location map Where the technician started and finished each work order.

Top Failures is the chart that changes the operation: it points at the checklist item that fails most. The same field at the top month after month is a problem with the equipment, the part or the procedure, not with the technician.

This card sits right below This month and is the only one that looks ahead. Each column is one day, and the height is the number of work orders with a Scheduled date on that day. The column splits by status: Open, In progress and Finished. A dashed line marks Today.

The Period filter counts both ways on this card: 7d shows the 7 days before and the 7 after, 30d shows 30 on each side, and so on. That is what the card is for: seeing the load that is coming before it arrives.

Cancelled work orders and work orders with no Scheduled date are left out. The days follow the time zone of your computer.

With View on Table, the list shows only the days that have work orders. With none, the screen says No work orders scheduled in this period.

It only counts work orders in the period that have a Scheduled date filled in:

  • Concluídas no prazo — finished by the scheduled date.
  • Concluídas com atraso — finished after the scheduled date.
  • Abertas vencidas — the date passed and the work order is still open.
  • Com data agendada (período) — the total the other three are computed on.

With no scheduled work order, the card explains: No work orders with a scheduled date in the period. Fill in the scheduled date when creating the work order for this card to work.

Each point is a coordinate the app recorded at the Start or the Finish of the execution. With no coordinate recorded, the card shows No location records captured yet.

The Work order times block shows four times of the work orders finished in the period: Time to finish, Worked time, Step time and Idle time. The four cards are buttons: the chosen time drives the chart, the moving average and the table.

This block replaced the Avg completion (hrs) card, which showed a single number. Time to finish is that number.

See Read the work order times: what each time measures, how to read the daily average and the moving average, and why an outlier work order is left out of the average.

Reports generated, New clients and New team members count what was created within the period.

An empty card almost always points at a missing record, and the screen itself says which:

Empty card What fixes it
Top Clients Link a client to the work orders.
Por tipo de OS Create work order types and assign them.
Top Root Causes Require root cause on work orders, or finish one with a root cause.
Assignees Assign a technician to the work orders.

A whole dashboard at zero while work orders exist is usually the filter: check the Period and whether a client is still selected.
